Our origin

Measuring was only the beginning.

We started with sensors, connectivity and software to monitor medical oxygen. Over time we learned that information has to reach the right people, be read in the context of the patient and become part of the routine of those who give care and of those who manage it.

Timeline

Ten years of science applied to Brazilian health.

From Recife, we bring together science, engineering, health and operations, with universities, scientific institutions and funding agencies, to develop in Brazil technology that improves continuity of care.

  1. 2016

    A concrete question

Salvus is born in Recife. How can a therapy that a person's life may depend on be followed remotely? ATAS, short for Sensor-based Measurement, Transmission and Analysis (in Portuguese), wins first place among startups at Campus Party Weekend, in Olinda.

  2. 2017 to 2019

    From hypothesis to the field

Three prototype models and field tests. Visits and usability tests show what the lab does not. Funding programs and projects with research partners, including BNDES, structure the next stages.

  3. 2020 to 2022

    A portfolio, not a product

ATAS O2 advances in home and hospital applications. HAI starts organizing plans, prescriptions, visits, professionals and records. ATAS Vital research widens the view to physiological signals.

  4. 2023 and 2024

    Real use and integrations

With the products in operation, the challenge changes: implementing predictably, integrating hospital systems and sustaining service. Each product follows its own path.

  5. 2025 and 2026

    Cases and maturing

Years of building cases and of finding each product's fit with the market. What years of implementation taught becomes a process and a capacity Salvus can repeat.

What we do today

Different products, one vision.

Each product has its own users, cycle and challenges. All of them link records, people, devices and processes to support care management.

  • Hospitals

    ATAS O₂

Connected device that records oxygen events and consumption at the point of use. It gives teams visibility and can integrate information with the medical record and the patient bill.

  • Home care and health plans

    HAI

Home care management system. It links care plan, schedule, professionals, visits and indicators, from the plan to the visit, so the health plan and the team see the same operation.

  • In development

    ATAS Vital

Research on following physiological signals throughout care. A working prototype exists and clinical validation is under way. It has no regulatory registration and is not for sale.

What our history taught us

Health technology only creates value inside the routine of care.

  • Start from the real problem

Understand the routine of those who give care before defining the solution.

  • Health technology does not end at the screen

It includes installation, connectivity, registration, training, integration, maintenance, support and the operation's response.

  • Handle the exception

The product also has to work when the operation leaves the ideal workflow.

  • Information needs context

A record makes sense when linked to the patient and the care context, and when it leads to a clear action.

Let's talk for 30 minutes.

Tell us how your operation works. We show you, with fictitious data, how the record reaches your operation's management.

Do not send patient data by email or message.

We reply within 1 business day.
